We love turning fun ideas into crafty realities
Vicandyls: Vic & Dyl make candles (+ much more!). Party signs, favors, seating charts, custom shirts, photo backdrops… The world is your oyster, & we’re here to help!
What’s here
Candles
Small batches, poured a few dozen at a time. Mostly favours for weddings and showers, with names and dates on the labels — and sometimes a scent named after the person it’s for.
There’s usually some stock sitting on a shelf. Email me and I’ll tell you what’s actually there.
Custom Orders
Shirts, tumblers, signs, woodburning, embroidery, stickers, candles with your details on them. Most requests come in through here.
If you can describe the thing, I can usually tell you within a day or so whether I can make it and roughly what it involves.
Events
Balloon installs, backdrops, welcome signs, seating charts, tablescapes, favour tables. Showers, weddings, birthdays, bachelorettes. Rhode Island, and a bit over the line into Connecticut.
Send me the date first. That’s the thing that decides everything else.
Studio
Woodburning, embroidery, vinyl, perler beads, quilting, pottery, and one skeleton in a hand-knit scarf.
Some of it was a commission, some was a gift, some was a Tuesday. Not all of it’s for sale, but most of it could be made again.
Journal
Occasional writing about making things and the occasions that need them.
Nothing posted yet — the first few are written and sitting in drafts.
Recently
Some of what’s left the table.
Who’s making it
It started with candles. Then somebody needed a sign to go with the candles, and then forty favour bags, and then a seating chart, and at some point it stopped being a candle thing.
I like the specific stuff — the joke only that group of friends will get, the name spelled the unusual way, the exact green somebody had in their head. That’s most of what I do now.
The table it happens on is a dining table with newspaper down. Wax gets everywhere regardless.

Tell me what the occasion is.
What it’s for, when, and roughly where. If you’re not sure what you want yet, say that too — most people aren’t at the start.
